There's this thing I do with my dummy, where I move it right to the side of my mouth with my tongue and let it partly hang out like a cigarette. Grandma Symons thinks its HILARIOUS and always has a chuckle about it. Of late I've been 'popping' the dummy out whenever Dad or Mum put it in. It is SO much fun (for me; not so for my parents) shooting it as far away from myself as possible, over and over again. Mum has stopped playing and says, "Its all fun and games until SOMEONE loses her DUMMY" and then I have to go to sleep without it.
Last night, when standing next to the bath getting ready to put me in, Mum decided on a skillful whipping off of my cloth nappy, complete with a flourishing flick of the wrist, just before putting me in the bath. However, there was a splash as something hit the bath before I did- and a LOT of it. Mum had to re-run the bath and then clean the rest of the poo off the bath rim, floor, basin, bathmat and her house shoes. Mum really hopes she learns from that one.
A few nights ago, Mum was sitting in the living room listening on the baby monitor to me laughing hysterically with Dad in my cot, and she was thinking that he really shouldn't be hyping me up just before sleeptime. However, as the chuckling went on, she realised that she couldn't hear Dad at all. It turned out Dad was in the next room to Mum and I was upstairs laughing away, all by myself. Its quite a mystery to them and they will probably never know what was so funny :-)
