Today, Ms Lanh came over to play and we went for a walk around our neighbourhood and then to our 'local' -- Joma cafe. Navigating the footpaths of this city is not so easy sometimes, as they are most definitely not just for feet! Cars, motorbikes, chairs, tables, motorcycle panelbeaters, old men resting while having a good nose-pick, toileting babies, motorcycle spraypainters, children playing games, window tinting people, motorbike taxi drivers sitting on their motorbikes squeezing blackheads in their side mirrors, ladies washing their hair.... the narrow and VERY bumpy footpaths are the domain of all these and more. We are really glad we were able to buy a new (second-hand) stroller which makes my walks outside much more comfortable and jiggles my little baby brain a whole lot less.
