Poor Me - again!

In the night I had my first ever (most likely vaccination-induced) fever: 38.6 degrees. Mum and Dad were sadder than me, I think. I was just really uncomfortable. But they fed me and panadol-ed me, and rocked me back to sleep. They didn't sleep much after that, they said. They wanted to keep checking on me. I even got to keep my bedroom door open so my every noise could reach their ears :-)

Today, however, I am back to my usual cheery self. Here we are at Joma again, where we all enjoyed some refreshments.

Mum is also doing better, and back to her appreciation of all variations on the English language. On the back of the taxi passenger seat, she was delighted to note that there's a number you can call to report the driver taking you on a "Tortuous Path". (Her absolute favourite, however, is still when one of our very special local friends says, "No Ploblem")

  1. You are doing a wonderful job with Emily Rach and Jon. I think Jon inherited my very soft heart for babies crying. Nat, Jon and Fi always called out to Dad or came around to my side of the bed when they felt off colour especially at night.

  2. You write such nice things on here :-) Yes, Jon sure is a comforter. Emily settles really well with him.
