For today, our 20th electricity cut in 9 weeks, Mum and Dad decided to spare me the stress of trying to sleep in horrendous heat without aircon, so we checked into a hotel yesterday, after Mum spent Mothers Day packing up the necessities of a 5 month old's daily life. This morning, however, they wondered if they'd made the right decision. A call to a neighbour on our same floor confirmed that yes, it was dreadfully hot in her apartment. Yay, they thought. Good decision! But then the rain came and actually made the air chilly! So then Mum decided to pack up and take us home. Hm. Well, after we arrived home it got hot again. Arghhhh. So I didn't sleep much today and was put to bed early, but not before I made the video below. ANYway...the brief hotel stay wasn't all doom and gloom. I had a lovely swim in the pool with Mum to cool off yesterday.
