Things I'm Scared Of

The kookaburra toy at Grandma & Grandpa's place (Mum's best guess is it has an evil laugh?) was the scariest thing in the world, until Mum went and bought an all-natural-rubber (read: mother-sanctioned) chewing toy to replace Sophie the Giraffe (and indeed is made by the same company, tho not a choking hazard as we've been told poor old Sophie is). This new creature makes the kookaburra look like Casper the Friendly Ghost. It terrifies me beyond words. Mum put it right at the bottom of the toy box in the hopes that I would forget I hate it and eventually grow to love it dearly. No chance. Two weeks later I found it in the bottom of the box and started having conniptions. It has been retired for the next child. (My poor sibling!!!) See? Clearly the stuff of nightmares.
