Emily-Proofing

Mum has worked (not very tirelessly - she's quite tired) to get the house to Speedy Emily standards. I'm really starting to get up some speed on this little tushie of mine. So today, some men came in and moved my bookcase! It was sitting there all conveniently in the dining/kitchen area, tempting me with reading material a whole lot more exciting than mine (by virtue of them being contraband), and now all those lovely books are gone!! Dearie me. We're also seeing soft padded thingies cropping up on low table corners, and tricky little devices designed to keep my determined fingers out of cupboards and drawers. I'm also seeing more of Mum's tushie, as she's very often bending over in some obscure corner, disposing of dust bunnies, dead spiders and an assortment of choking hazards. Grr -- talk about spoiling my fun!!! I'm letting her know in no uncertain terms that I don't appreciate all of this one little bit...
