Its the month for grandies! On 7th April, Grandma and Granddad came from Perth to visit us. More cuddles and fun followed.
We went on a wonderful weekend away down south to Furama resort in Da Nang. After we were given adjoining rooms, Mum and Dad no longer had to spend my sleep times holed up in a darkened room, twiddling their thumbs while I slept one metre away! They had the chance to get out a little and Mum got to swim in the lagoon pool and enjoy her first pina colada ever. Very tropical-tasting, she thought!! On the flight home we were one of those families no one wants to be sitting next to... my screaming was pretty horrendous and continued for the duration of the flight back to Hanoi. I don't much like to be held upright in a baby carrier with a seatbelt on at my bedtime.
Grandma and Granddad went off on their own for two nights and explored Halong Bay aboard a rather swish boat (send us some photos, Grandma... we'll put one on here!). On the last day they were here, Granddad, Grandma, Mum and Dad all went to Metropole hotel for a delicious buffet lunch while I stayed with 'Co Hien' -- our lovely helper. Everyone had a great day.
